Las Palmas is a fairly small no frills Mexican restaurant located in an older strip mall. We were greeted by a friendly host and seated right away in the bar area where we prefer. The bar has 8 stools and all were available. Started with chips and salsa, and house margaritas. The chips were crispy and salsa had a nice heat. The margaritas were tasty and potent. For dinner on our first night we ordered the stuffed sopapilla and carnitas burrito, both were delicious. On a second night we had the #11 combo that included a tasty Chicharrones burrito, Beef Taco, Bean Tostada, and Tamale. Both nights were pleasant experiences and Las Palmas will be our go to spot for local Mexican food. Parking is shared by other stores, so you may not find a spot near the restaurant front door

Love this place. It's become one of our favorite spots to eat. They have a wonderful selection of menu items. The steak tampiqeuna, huevos rancheros are a fan favorite. The service is impecable, Maria is our favorite waitress "and none for her" when bringing the bill. the only complaint is that the restaurant is becoming dated. It lacks TLC, the paint is looking drab, the lighting is off, and they're lacking in their cleaning detail. The food is still fantastic, but it just looks like they're losing their image.
